The Snow Wall

The 22nd day of Nightal in the Year of the Ruins Reborn.
Robin Drakesmellow has made a wonderful recovery, and is already back on guard duty with his comrades. His recovery is nothing short of a miracle, and Pelor must be blessed.
A wonderful side effect of this whole escapade is that we have made some further discoveries about this land we now live in. Maybe this is all the intention of Pelor and greater works are afoot than just our mortal own.
As the year draws to a close, so rightly named the Year of the Ruins Reborn, we have found the remains of yet another structure however strange it may be. As Gilmorril and Rindall scoured the land to the east, about a league or so away, for the herbs and roots needed for Robin’s recovery they literally stumbled upon some more ruins.
Gilmorril tells me that at first he just thought it was a snowdrift, but when Rindall ploughed through and struck stone they were both surprised. They spent a little time clearing away the snow to find the remains of what Gilmorril believes was a wall. The pair traced the wall northwards, alongside what appeared to be a dry riverbed. There were many gaps, where stone no longer existed, but Gilmorril tells me that there are still markings and undulations that look like foundations.
As they moved north they came across a larger structure within the wall, perhaps the foundations of a lookout tower or very small fort, only twenty feet or so square. The wall line continued again off to the north.
When the snow abates, Gilmorril says he will go back and study this wall to work out where it begins and where it ends.
As to its purpose we can only speculate at the moment. Until we know the full extent of its length we can only guess.
